Critical Maintenance Milestones for Two-Wheeled Vehicles

Any vehicle requires regular maintenance to ensure efficient and durable operation. Maintenance involves many procedures such as purchasing motorcycle oil, oil changes, spark plug replacement, brake fluid changes, air filter replacement, and more. However, each component has different maintenance intervals that not everyone is aware of. Learn more in the following article!

Understanding the right time to purchase and regularly change motorcycle oil
1. Specific maintenance intervals for each vehicle component
1.1 After traveling 2,000 - 3,000 km
This is a regular mileage interval you should note for changing your motorcycle oil. Engine oil functions to lubricate, reduce friction between engine components, and help clean and protect the engine.
Oil that is used for too long will lose its effectiveness and may cause unnecessary damage to your engine. Therefore, you only need to change oil every 2,000 - 3,000 km for vehicles that typically travel short distances.
Currently, there are many types of engine oil available on the market. You should visit reputable oil distributors such as motorcycle oil dealers in Hai Phong, motorcycle oil dealers in Hanoi, motorcycle oil dealers in Quang Ninh, etc., to receive professional advice and purchase the right oil suitable for your vehicle.

Changing engine oil is essential to ensure vehicle performance and longevity.
1.2 Change brake fluid and brake pads after 10,000 km
Compared to purchasing motorcycle oil for engine use, the brake fluid replacement interval is longer. Typically, you need to change brake fluid and brake pads after your vehicle has traveled approximately 10,000 km.
However, during operation, if you notice signs of brake failure, you should replace them promptly to avoid damaging other components and ensure user safety.
Similar to engine oil, when purchasing brake fluid, you don't necessarily need to choose premium imported oil for it to be effective. What matters is selecting the oil type that suits your vehicle's technical specifications.

Like engine oil, brake fluid should also be selected carefully.
1.3 Spark plug replacement every 10,000 km
Typically, people rarely pay attention to regular spark plug replacement and only inspect spark plugs when the engine won't start. Spark plugs left for extended periods without regular inspection or timely replacement
