Checking oil for the Exciter 150
- Step 1: Place the motorcycle on a flat surface and allow the engine to cool for at least 10 minutes before checking the oil.
- Step 2: Remove the dipstick from the oil reservoir and clean it to avoid contamination.
- Step 3: Insert the dipstick into the measuring tube and pull it out to check the current oil level.
- Step 4: If the oil level falls between the "MIN" and "MAX" markings, then the oil level is sufficient. If the oil level is below "MIN," you will need to add new oil. If the oil level is above "MAX," you will need to replace the old oil to avoid damaging the engine.
- Step 5: If you need to add new oil, purchase genuine oil and pour it into the reservoir through the oil filler neck near the starter sprocket. Add oil slowly and continuously check the motorcycle oil level to prevent overflow.
