4. How to Fix a Motorcycle That is Losing Power
- Choose the appropriate type of fuel for your motorcycle. Generally, older motorcycles with a low compression ratio (from 7:1 to 9:1) can use A92 fuel. For modern vehicles that use electronic fuel injection and have a high compression ratio (above 9:1), A95 fuel is recommended.
- Regularly clean and check the spark plug and filters to ensure the motorcycle operates efficiently.
- Regularly clean the carburetor and adjust screws to help the motorcycle use fuel as sparingly as possible.
- Change the oil regularly, every 2,000 – 3,000 km. When purchasing oil, look for a reputable seller to ensure the products are genuine.
- Check the tires to avoid under-inflation.
- Inspect, maintain, and replace the clutch if any damage is detected.
- Regularly maintain the chain and sprockets,
