1. Introduction to Motul 7100 and Motul H-Tech oils

Essentially, the Motul brand is no stranger to the Vietnamese motorcycle market. However, few people know that Motul has a wide range of products, each suitable for different needs of users. Currently, within the premium segment available at Motul oil shops in the country, you can find two types: Motul 7100 and Motul H-Tech.

Motul 7100 oil is a high-end product from Motul.

This is a 100% synthetic ester oil that improves film strength at high temperatures and high rpm. Motul 7100 10w50 can optimize sulfur and phosphorus content, enhancing the performance of the exhaust gas treatment system. Motul 7100 10w50 meets the JASO MA2 standard with a high friction coefficient, ensuring smooth operation.

Motul H-Tech is quite suitable for commuting vehicles in Vietnam.

Not to be outdone, Motul H-Tech also boasts impressive specifications. It is a 100% synthetic oil with an API SN rating just like 7100 and meets JASO MA2 standards. Motul H-Tech offers excellent oxidation resistance, prevents oil thickening due to temperature, provides lubrication, reduces friction, and minimizes wear.

2. Comparison between Motul 7100 and Motul H-Tech oils

Overall, both Motul 7100 and Motul H-Tech oils have a relatively high API SN quality rating. As premium products from Motul, both meet JASO MA2 standards for better clutch slip resistance, making them suitable for manual transmission motorbikes. The biggest difference between these two products is their viscosity (SAE). This is also an important factor users need to consider when selecting the appropriate oil type.
