Cold weather

Extremely cold weather affects fuel quality and viscosity, causing fuel to condense in fuel lines. This prevents the combustion chamber from receiving sufficient fuel to operate. Additionally, low ambient temperatures cause motorcycle lubricant to thicken, resulting in engine sluggishness and making startup difficult.

To resolve this issue, turn off the ignition, pull the choke lever, and pump the kick starter 5-10 times (this helps fuel reach the combustion chamber more quickly). Then close the choke, unlock the bike, turn on the ignition, and apply approximately 1/4 throttle.
