Changing ATV/UTV oil helps the engine run more smoothly
1. When should you change the oil in your ATV/UTV?
Typically, the oil change interval for ATV/UTV motorcycles is after 5,000 to 7,000 kilometers or approximately every 5 months of vehicle use. For premium and high-end ATV/UTV models, the oil change interval may differ, ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 kilometers depending on the model to ensure stable engine performance.
However, besides the mileage factor, vehicle owners also need to consider many other factors to decide whether to change ATV/UTV oil or not.
ATV/UTV vehicles need to change oil after 5,000 to 7,000 kilometers
- First, it depends on the type of lubricating oil for each vehicle model: depending on the model and manufacturer, vehicles will have different specifications. Therefore, changing the correct oil to the proper level will ensure optimal engine performance.
- Based on the oil dipstick on the engine system: Usually, the dipstick will have two marks: max and min. If the oil level is below "min," it indicates the engine lacks lubricating oil, while above the "max" level means the vehicle has excess oil. If drivers do not check this, it will affect the vehicle's operational capability.
- Additionally, there are other factors that may necessitate changing ATV/UTV oil, including: vehicle age, daily operating environment, frequency of use, terrain conditions, and so on.
Moreover, instead of spending excessive money on vehicle repairs each time, maintenance costs and oil change prices
