1. The drifting car market in Vietnam

Drifting is a driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers at high speed, causing the rear wheels to slide across the road while maintaining control over speed and direction.

In simple terms, before entering a turn, the driver will increase the slip angle at the rear wheels, creating a counter-rotation to the direction of the turn. For example, when a car is drifting to the right, the front wheels will be directed to the left.

The drifting technique was developed in the 1970s by Japanese racer Kunimitsu Takahashi. He invented this technique to navigate corners at high speeds near the edge of the road. Thanks to this technique, he gained numerous championships and shared this skill with the racing community.

Despite being famous worldwide for a long time, the drifting car market in Vietnam has only gained popularity in the last year. However, the car racing movements in Vietnam have shown many remarkable developments.

Evidence of this is the increasing number of large-scale events and facilities being built to provide opportunities for like-minded individuals to meet and interact. The number of drivers is also growing, and experienced enthusiasts are always ready to share their skills and experience with newcomers.
